Our Open Positions

The Director of Sales is responsible for supporting the growth and development of the sales team in all sales-related activities, including direct sales efforts, follow-up, and proper sales administration. They are also responsible for focusing the hotels on growing existing accounts and on generating new business to maximize revenue and profits and to improve each hotel’s performance in the marketplace.  Identify talent and develop salespeople to increase bench strength.  Manage the area cluster to include cross-selling strategies, utilization of the national sales team, and joint sales calls. He/she is also responsible for managing the sales call calendar.

As the Sales Manager, you would be responsible for meeting/exceeding EL CONQUISTADOR RESORT’s overall Business Plan objectives relative to the contributions of the Group Sales Department.  In addition, the Sales Manager is expected to deliver outstanding guest service and look after the financial profitability of the resort. Oversee the assigned territory production, direct sales, and develop and nurture key relationships, i.e,. Discover Puerto Rico, the Tourism Company, and/or any 3rd party organization the resort may be affiliated with. 

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

·At least 10 years of progressive group sales experience in a large hotel/resort, comparable with El Conquistador Resort.

·Previous remote sales experience is a must.

·Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

·Fully bilingual, English & Spanish desired but not required.

·Bachelors’ Degree Required.

·Computer skills.

·Knowledge in Delphi.fdc desired but not required.

The F&B Manager is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and directing all aspects of the F&B outlet’s operations, while maintaining a profitable F&B outlet and high-quality products and service levels. He/she is expected to market ideas to promote business, reduce employee turnover, maintain revenue and payroll budgets, and meet budgeted productivity while keeping quality consistently high. 

The Assistant Guest Services Manager is responsible for assisting the Guest Service Manager with the daily operations of the front office.  He/she supervisors the day-to-day activities of all Guest Services, Concierge and Uniformed Services personnel, assists with guest complaints and represents management in the absence of the Guest Services Manager.
